New Family Home

The idea of a private courtyard was a driver for the design for this new family home. Providing a courtyard garden allowed for supervision of the children as they play, as well as drawing light into the surrounding rooms throughout the day.
Traditional verandahs and rural building typologies inspired the building form, with the design referencing an older style but with an contemporary adaptation.
