Chadwick Architects design for the Alpine Lodge development in Dinner plain took inspiration from the Snow Gums in the surrounding context. The material palette is intended to allow the buildings to nestle into the environment and complement the context.
Bushfire management, seasonal snow were important considerations into the design, as well as ongoing maintenance of the buildings for the owners.
