Chadwick Architects were appointed to work on a Significantly Listed Heritage Building in Carlton, Victoria. The original lightwell was underused, and our proposal repositioned the kitchen into this space, enabling the living areas to be positioned next to the garden and extended slightly. A new roof skylight above the living area gives a sense of space and light and draws the occupant towards the garden
